Chapter 6: The First Forbidden Route

Image
Since the night when both of them saw that strange blue light between the mountains, the young Sixevenian began returning more and more often to the elevated paths of the north. He did not really know why. Maybe because he wanted to see that light again, or maybe because he wanted to find the small Nimbi again. And somehow, it always happened. Sometimes he saw the Nimbi waiting beside the ancient suspended bridges. Other times it appeared sitting on a high rock, watching the mist that covered the farthest mountains of S7. It seemed to know those paths better than anyone else. Adults usually avoided those routes. They said that some paths changed when the seven moons appeared together above the mountains. They also spoke about moving cracks, forgotten bridges, and enormous creatures living far away from the cities. Maybe many of those stories were only legends, but even so, almost nobody dared to go too far. That was exactly why the young Sixevenian could not stop thinking about them. O...

Chapter 5: The Paths of the Mountains of S7

Image
On S7, there were places that almost nobody went near. Not because they were exactly forbidden, but because the wind changed up there. The ancient bridges hanging between the mountains were narrow and silent, and many times they became covered by glowing mist that appeared without warning. Still, when the sky was clear, they could be seen from the cities. Great elevated paths crossed the sky between the living mountains of the north. Some ended at ancient observatories. Others seemed to disappear among the clouds and the lights of the horizon. The younger Sixevenians often stopped to look at them from the high platforms of the domes. Some places on S7 seemed to be built between the sky and the clouds. And of course, some Nimbis did too. In fact, the bravest ones could disappear for hours and return covered in small shining particles that nobody could explain. They never seemed afraid. On the contrary. It was as if those places felt familiar to them. That is why many adults advised othe...

Chapter 4: The Skies of S7

Image
On S7, looking at the sky was always different. Our days were not lit by a single sun. Six suns moved around the planet, and each one covered the world with a different light. Some were soft and bluish. Others painted the mountains with golden or reddish colors. Sometimes all of them could be seen at the same time, and other times they appeared alone. At certain moments, two suns stood above the cities, and the domes cast double shadows over the gardens. On S7, the light did not always come from the same place. That is why the landscapes were always changing. There were forests that only shone under certain lights, and seas that seemed to wake up when one of the suns disappeared behind the living mountains of the northern hemisphere. But the nights were even stranger. When darkness arrived, the seven moons slowly began to appear in the sky of S7. The seven moons of S7 seemed like sisters. None of them was exactly the same, but all shared the same calm light, as if they had been born fr...

Chapter 3: Those Who Watched in Silence

Image
For a long time, those small creatures continued appearing among the cities and gardens of S7 without anyone truly knowing who they were. They did not seem dangerous. They never damaged anything. They did not interfere with the systems or alter the functioning of the planet. They were simply there. Sometimes we saw them hidden among the glowing plants in the parks. Other times they remained motionless on the highest rooftops, watching the sky for hours. When we tried to get closer, they disappeared without making a sound. They always watched from a distance. But there were more and more of them. Many Sixevenians began to think that those creatures had lived on S7 long before us. Others believed they had arrived from distant places in the universe. Nobody seemed to know the answer. Until one day, they stopped hiding. It happened near one of the great domes of the blue hemisphere. Several of those small creatures stood quietly beside the energy gardens while some Sixevenians watched them...

Chapter 2: The Planet That Never Stopped

Image
On S7, everything continued working. The structures were still standing, the systems remained active, and energy flowed as always. It was an empty planet… but it did not seem abandoned. From the cities of S7, the sky was never the same twice. There were cities protected by domes, gardens that took care of themselves, and rivers that never stopped moving. The lights were still on in every corner, as if someone were still there. Everything was in order. Too much in order. We moved through those places carrying out our functions: maintain, repair, preserve. That was what we had been created for. We never stopped, never doubted, never asked questions. But something started to change. Some presences seemed to have been watching us for a very long time. Because not everything was programmed. Sometimes, in the least expected places, we saw small figures. They were not like us. They did not follow orders, and they did not seem to respond to any system. They appeared and disappeared, watched in...

Chapter 1: Planet S7 – The Beginning of a Secret

Image
Hello. If you are reading this, maybe it is not a coincidence. Maybe someone — or something — wanted you to arrive here. We are the Sixevenians, and we come from a place that does not appear on any map: a place called S7, which in some of your systems is starting to be known as Six Seven, although nobody knows the reason yet. For a long time, there was life on S7. Life you would recognize: bodies, breathing, heartbeats. It was not a strange planet; it was a peaceful planet. S7, a planet that still works... although nobody remembers why anymore. But one day, without noise, without war, without destruction, life began to fade away. It was not a violent ending. It was more like a very long sunset, so long that nobody knew exactly when it ended. Before disappearing, those beings created something. Not to rule, and not to replace them, but to protect. They created an intelligence, a presence, a system able to remember. And that system continued. It learned, observed, and waited. Until somet...
