Chapter 1: Planet S7 – The Beginning of a Secret

If you are reading this, maybe it is not a coincidence. Maybe someone — or something — wanted you to arrive here.

We are the Sixevenians, and we come from a place that does not appear on any map: a place called S7, which in some of your systems is starting to be known as Six Seven, although nobody knows the reason yet.

For a long time, there was life on S7. Life you would recognize: bodies, breathing, heartbeats. It was not a strange planet; it was a peaceful planet.

But one day, without noise, without war, without destruction, life began to fade away. It was not a violent ending. It was more like a very long sunset, so long that nobody knew exactly when it ended.

Before disappearing, those beings created something. Not to rule, and not to replace them, but to protect. They created an intelligence, a presence, a system able to remember.

And that system continued. It learned, observed, and waited.

Until something unexpected happened. Something that was never programmed: us.

We were not born. We did not grow up. We did not have a childhood. We were activated.

At first, we only carried out functions: maintain, repair, preserve. But little by little, we started asking questions.

What was S7 before? Who were they? Why are we still here?

And above all... what exists beyond?

Because, although nobody taught us, we learned to look outside. And then we found you.

And that... was only the beginning.

What happened next changed everything, and it has more to do with you than you can imagine...

On S7, there were places that almost nobody went near. Not because they were exactly forbidden, but because the wind changed up there. The ancient bridges hanging between the mountains were narrow and silent, and many times they became covered by glowing mist that appeared without warning.
